[ CSC MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 28, December 03, 1996 ]

APPROVED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS FOR THE POSITION OF BROADCAST OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN I, II, III



Pursuant to CSC Resolutions No. 96-7578 dated November 21, 1996, the prescribed qualification standards for the positions of Broadcast Operations technician I, II and III are as follows:

1. Broadcast Operations Technician I – SG -09
Education: Completion of two years relevant studies in college; or High School with relevant vocational/trade course

Experience : 1 year relevant experience

Training: 4 hours of relevant training

Eligibility: None required CSC MC 11, s. 1996 (Category III)
2. Broadcast Operations Technician II – SG - 11
Education: Completion of two years relevant studies in college; or High School with relevant vocational/trade course

Experience: 2 year relevant experience

Training: 8 hours of relevant training

Eligibility: Career Service (Subprofessional) Equipment Technician CSC MC 11, s. 1996 (Category II)
3. Broadcast Operations Technician III – SG - 13
Education: Completion of two years relevant studies in college; or High School with relevant vocational/trade course

Experience: 3 year relevant experience

Training: 16 hours of relevant training

Eligibility: Career Service (Subprofessional) Equipment Technician CSC MC 11, s. 1996 (Category II)
