LOADING OF INTERISLAND VESSELS



In order to forestall the recurrence of accidents. all shipowners and operators are hereby enjoined to limit the number of passengers and weight/volume of cargoes to be loaded in their vessels to rated capacity stipulated by this Office in the vessel's Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC).

It shall be incumbent upon the shipowners and operators to see to it that the rated capacity of the vessel is not exceeded.

Non-compliance with the provision of this memorandum shall be severely dealt with.

For strict and immediate compliance.
