[ POEA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 4 S. 1984, January 23, 1984 ]
AMENDMENT TO NSB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 70 (SERIES OF 1981) RE: MANDATORY REQUIREMENT OF RADAR SIMULATOR COURSE TO SECOND MATES AND THIRD MATES
For the purpose of implementing a resolution of the POEA Governing Board adopted last December, 1983 on the above subject, the following guidelines are hereby issued:
1. Effective 01 January 1984, radar simulator course shall be mandatory to all second mates in updating of their registration and processing of employment contracts by the Administration;
2. In the case of third mates, it shall be mandatory effective 01 June 1984.

Re-issued: 18 Feb. 1992
