GUIDING OVERSEAS CONTRACT WORKERS INCLUDING SEAMEN IN FILING UP POEA ARRIVAL CARD THRU PDOS
The POEA Arrival Card which is being issued to the Overseas Contract Workers including Seamen upon their arrival is an important instrument in the formulation of policy guidelines particularly on welfare scheme for returning workers. However, since it has been observed that these cards have not been properly accomplished by said workers, the need to orient them becomes imperative.
As the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) is a suitable venue to guide the workers in accomplishing this card, all concerned are hereby enjoined to spare a portion of their PDOS time for this purpose.
Attached is a copy of the said Arrival Card for use during the orientation.

Re-issued: 18 Feb. 1992
