POSTING OF MMTAG OPERATION CENTER TELEPHONE NUMBERS



In line with the directive contained in the Memorandum dated 22 December 1997 of DOTC Secretary Arturo T. Enrile, and in order to protect commuters from unscrupulous drivers, all operators of land-based public transportation, under the jurisdiction of this Board, are hereby required to post at the most conspicuous location inside the vehicles the following advisory:
"For complaint and emergencies, please contact the Metro Manila Traffic Action Group (MMTAG) Operation Center at telephone numbers: 813-6238, 813-6321, 8136464, and 813-6325"
The above advisory shall form part of the vehicle marking requirements, without which the Land Transportation Office will not register the units/vehicles.

Violation of this Memorandum Circular shall subject the offending operator to possible suspension of his unit’s CPC.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days after the filing of three (3) copies hereof, with the U.P. Law Center, in accordance with Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated October 09, 1992.
