AMENDMENT TO THE RULE ON IMPORTED HORSES



Please be informed that the Philracom Board in its meeting on January 29, 2000, after due deliberation further resolved to amend Paragraph (d) of the rules on imported horses, which was approved on February 26, 1996, to wit:

Paragraph (d) states that:

d.  A minimum of three (3) declared imported horses shall constitute an imported division race. However, in the event that one or more imported horses out of the three 93) are scratched on race day, the race shall be allowed to be run provided that the total number of horses to run the said race are more than three (3), thus, presupposing there are local horses joining the said race. Such race or situation shall not be part of the quota for the imported division races for the week. Such race shall be classified as a local race.

It will now be read as follows:

Such race or situation shall not be part of the quota for the imported division races for the week. Such race shall be classified as a local race, EXCEPT IN SPECIAL RACES. WHEREIN LESS THAN THREE (3) IMPORTED HORSES MAYBE ALLOWED.”

This shall take effect immediately.
