[ POEA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 22, S. 1987, September 03, 1987 ]

"AUTHORITY TO COLLECT VISA" AS SUBSTITUTE DOCUMENT FOR VISA CERTIFICATE



In pursuit of further streamlining accreditation requirements and procedures the following guidelines are hereby established:

1. For purposes of approving job orders the document "AUTHORITY TO COLLECT VISA" (original copy) shall be required in lieu of the visa certificate issued by the Saudi Embassy.  If document is not bilingual, meaning no English version indicated, then an official English translation by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will also be required.

2. The original copy of the said document shall bear the stamp of the Saudi Chamber of Commerce and the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and shall bear the name of the agency or any of its duly authorized officers.  Authority issued to a third-party individual shall not be recognized as agency accounts.

3. Confirmation may be resorted to by this office should any doubts arise as to the authenticity of the document being presented/submitted.

For implementation and strict compliance of all concerned fifteen days after issuance of this Circular.
