(NAR) VOL. 11 NO.1 / JANUARY – MARCH 2000

[ MTRCB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 98-07, August 10, 1998 ]

THREE (3) FLEET-HIGH “STANDEE” FOR THEATER LOBBY DISPLAY

The present BOARD’s Implementing Rules and Regulations will be in effect August 13, 1998. Children below 13 years of age will now be admitted to “PG-13” movies, provided they are accompanied by a parent or an adult.

It is unlawful to allow an unaccompanied child below 13 inside the theater. The BOARD will not hesitate to impose sanctions on theater owners who violate this provision and all other provisions of the Implementing Rules and Regulations.

To avoid confusion, please ensure all three (3) feet-high “standees” are in place. The “PG-13” “standee” must read:

“PG-13”
(Children below 13 allowed only if accompanied by parent or an adult)

PLEASE BE GUIDED.

Adopted: 10 Aug. 1998

(SGD.) ARMIDA P.E. SIGUION-REYNA
Chairman, MTRCB
