[ NTC MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2-1-2000, January 13, 2000 ]

EXTENDING THE RENEWAL OF THE RADIO STATION LICENSE USING AMATEUR EQUIPMENT TO MEMBERS OF THE CIVIC GROUPS



In view of the clamor of the NTC accredited civic groups to allow their members to renew their radio station license with amateur equipment, which were permitted pursuant NTC MC no. 31-95, said licensed may be renewed for the last time until Dec. 31, 2004 subject to the following conditions:

a.         The radio station license applied for renewal must be included in the rooster of licensee submitted by the civic group to NTC before March 31, 2000 and

b.         Applied license are those valid until 1999.

Any new, additional or replacement of currently licensed amateur equipment shall conform to NTC type approved radio equipment models.

This Circular amends or supersedes any Circular, Order or Memoranda which are inconsistent herewith.
