AMENDMENT TO THE RULE OF HORSES COMING 75 METERS BEHIND THE THIRD PLACER



Please be informed that the PHILRACOM Board in its meeting held on May 12, 2000 resolved to amend by addition Section 113, Paragraph 5 of the Horseracing Rules and Regulations, as proposed by the Philippine Race Horse Trainer’s Association, Inc., for horses coming in 75 meters behind the third placer, to wit:

a.       For horses in the Maiden Division or those coming from vacation, if the time is equal to or better than the barrier time and the horse came in 75 meters behind the third placer, then the one month penalty shall be waived. If the time is worse, the penalty shall be applied.

b.       For those entries from the Maiden Division running in the Winners Division but have not yet won in the said division and came in 75 meters behind the third placer, If the time is equal to or better than its latest performance, then the one month suspension shall be waived. The waiving penalty can only be done twice.

This rules shall take effect immediately.
