CLARIFICATION ON MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 014-00 DATED MAY 31, 2000



On May 31, 2000, the Board issued Memorandum Circular No. 2000-014 requiring all operations of public utility vehicles to place markings on both sides of their units.

Accordingly, for purposes of clarification, the Board hereby clarified the 2nd paragraph thereof, which reads:

“The size of the said markings shall not be less than 3 inches in height and 3/4 inch in width, and the rest of the markings shall be 3” x 1/2”. Said markings shall be painted with any color easily readable for identification purposes.”

The size of the markings which shall not be less than 3 inches in height and 3/4 inch in width refers to Item 4 and 5, while the rest of the markings which shall be 3” x 1/2” refers to Items 1 to 3, as stated in Paragraph 1 of the said Memorandum Circular.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect on June 29, 2000, which is the effectivity date of Memorandum Circular No. 2000-014, and the payment of penalty shall take effect on September 28, 2000.
