CUSTOMS ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 7-2002



Hereto quoted is the provision of No. 2, Item No, V of CAO 7-2002 which states: 

"2 Existing CBTWs shall have three months form the effectivity date of this order to convertion to a ICBW."

You are hereby reminded that the time framewithin which to convert the existing CBTWs is only for three (3) months from the date of the effecttivity date of CAO 7-2002 is fifiteen (15) days after publication in a newspaper of general circulation. CAO 7-2002 was published in the December 07, 2002 issue of the Philippine Star.

In view whereof, the Customs Bonded Trading Warehouse under your respective jurisdiction should be advised officially to take the necessary steps to convert now to an Industry Specific Customs Bonded Warehouse (ICBW) or face closure after March 22, 2003.

Please be guided accordingly.
