[ SRA GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2, March 22, 2000 ]

INCREASE IN FEES AND CHARGES PURSUANT TO EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 197



Pursuant to Executive Order No. 197 dated January 15, 2000 of the Office of the President directing all Departments, Bureaus, Agencies, Instrumentalities including all Government Corporations to increase their rates of fees and charges by at least 20% and under and by virtue of the powers vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:

SECTION 1.        The following Fees and Charges are hereby increased and the new rates shall be imposed and collected:

1.         Registration/Renewal Fee

 

a.         Sugar/Molasses/Muscovado Traders

P5,000.00 per application

b.         Processors of Sugar Based Products for Export

P1,000.00 per application

 

 

2.         Clearance Fee

 

 

 

a.           Export of Sugar

P15.00 per Metric Ton

b.           Export of Molasses

P1.00 per Metric Ton

c.           Export of Muscovado           

P480.00 per Metric Ton

d.           Imported Sugar

P5.50 per Lkg.

e.           Imported Molasses

P240.00 per Metric Ton

 

 

3.         Swapping/Exchange/Surcharge Fee

 

 

 

a.           Regular Swapping

P0.50 per LKg.

b.           Advance Swapping

P1.00 per LKg.

c.           Advance Refining of "C" Sugar

P2.40 per Lkg.

d.           Switching Fee

P0.50 per Lkg.

e.           Reclassification Fee

P1.20 per Lkg.

 

 

4.         Monitoring/Service Fee

 

 

 

a.         From Raw to Refined

SECTION 2.        Increase in Milling Permit Fee shall take effect for sugar to be produced starting Crop Year 2000-2001.  Likewise, starting Crop Year 2000-2001 all millers shall be exempted from paying raw sugar analysis fee.

SECTION 3.        All other charges and fees currently being charged and collected and not covered by this Order shall continue to be collected.

SECTION 4.       This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication for two (2) consecutive weeks in two (2) newspapers of general circulation in the Philippines.
