SYLLABI FOR THE SUBJECTS IN THE FORESTERS LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS

WHEREAS, the Commission has adopted policy directives on licensure examinations embodied in the following issuances, namely: (1) MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 8, SERIES OF 1992; (2) Res. No. 265, Series of 1992; (3) MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 93-03, Series of 1993; and (4) MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 93-04, Series of 1993;

WHEREAS, under the afore-mentioned issuances, the Board is mandated to adopt a syllabus for each subject in the Foresters’ Licensure Examination;

WHEREAS, the Board had consultations with experts from the academe in the formulation of the syllabi for the subjects in the Foresters’ Licensure Examination.

NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to Sec. 5 of R.A. No. 6239, otherwise known as “The Forestry Profession Law”, the Board hereby RESOLVES, as it RESOLVED, to adopt and promulgate a syllabus for each of the subjects in Foresters Licensure Examination embodied in ANNEX “A”*, hereto attached and made a part hereof.

RESOLVED, FURTHER, that this Resolution shall, upon approval by the Commission, be effective after fifteen (15) days following its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation, whichever is earlier.

RESOLVED, FINALLY, that this Resolution be circularized and disseminated to all schools, colleges and universities offering courses in Forestry for the information and guidance to all concerned.
