[ DDB BOARD REGULATION NO. 3A, s. 1980, October 21, 1980 ]

ADDITION OF SUFENTANIL, TILIDINE, TCP, PHP OR PCPY, AND PCE TO THE LIST OF PROHIBITED DRUGS



In accordance with Article 2 Paragraph 7 of the 1971 Convention on Psychotropic Substances and Article 3 Paragraph 7 of the 1961 Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs and following communications from the Secretary General of the United Nations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines informing of Decision Nos. 2(S-VI) 3(S-VI) and 5 (S-VI) of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs placing the drugs identified hereunder in Schedule I annexed to the Conventions above mentioned the Dangerous Drugs Board by virtue of its powers under Section 36 (a) of R.A. 6425 as amended and consistent with its decision arrived at in its meeting of October 21, 1980 hereby includes the said drugs in the list of Prohibited Drugs.

1.    Sufentanil N- [4 -( methoxy-methyl) - 1 - [2- (2 - thienyl) ethyl] - 4 - piperidyl] propionanilide

2.    Tilidine      (+) - ethyltrans - 2 -( dimethyla-mino)- 1-phenyl - 3 - cyclohexene - 1 - carboxylate

3.    TCP         1 - [1 - (2- thienyl) cyclohexyl] piperidine

4.    PHP or PCPY      1 - (1 - phenyl- cyclohexyl) pyrrolidine

5.    PCE         N-ethyl-1phenylcyclohexylamine

This Regulation shall take effect fifteen (15) days after the second publication of this regulation in a newspaper of general circulation.
