[ MTC RESOLUTION NO. 19, S. 2000, December 21, 2000 ]
APPROVING THE REVISIONS OF ANNEXES 1 AND 2 OF MTC RESOLUTION NO. 03, S. 1998
WHEREAS, MTC Resolution NO. 03, s-1998 (Revised Standards of Procedures in the Accreditation and Monitoring of Course Programs Conducted by Maritime Training Council) was approved on June 25, 1998;
WHEREAS, the said resolution contains two annexes namely, Annex 1* (Table of Approved Training and Assessment Standards) and Annex 2 * (Qualification Standards for Supervisors, Instructors and Assessors):
WHEREAS, there is a need to revise and update the above-mentioned annexes in view of the additional courses introduced, the revisions of the IMO Model Courses where most of the training standards are based and also of the need to further clarify the qualification standards for Supervisors, Instructors and Assessors;
NOW, THEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises resolved as it is hereby resolved that the herein attached revisions to Annexes 1 and 2 of MTC Resolution No. 03, s. 1998 is hereby approved.
Resolve further that the MTC Executive Director shall issue the corresponding guidelines in the implementation of the said revisions.
