ISSUE ON PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
We are furnishing you the attached copy of the 19 August 1999 letter from Engr. Rodolfo R. Penalosa, Chair, Board of Electrical Engineering, Professional Regulation Commission, regarding the signing of engineering plans.
Based on the ruling of the "New Electrical Engineering Law" R.A. 7920, Board Resolution No. 22, series of 1995, Code of Ethics, Art. I. Sec. 1. effective immediately. Professional Electrical Engineers (PEE) or Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) who are employees/officers of the ECs are prohibited to practice his/her profession while still connected with the coop.
