PUBLICATION OF VALUES



Pursuant to the pertinent provisions of CAO 2-96, the Valuation and Classification Division, Import Assessment Service, this Bureau, is hereby directed to update the publication of values as presently recorded in various Revision Orders within one (1) month from the issuance of this memorandum.

In the meantime, the effectivity of the Memorandum** of the Commissioner of Customs dated November 10, 1998 regarding the application of published values, copy of which is herein attached, is suspended within the one-month period that subject Revision Orders are being updated or until such time that the New Revision Orders are issued.

The suspension however, would not apply to commodities listed in Annex "A" hereof, the values of which are under consideration by the Customs Valuation Team. Subject commodities shall continue to be assessed as per existing Revisions Orders in relation to existing rules and regulations until the matter is resolved by the Customs Valuation Team or New Revision Orders affecting the same are issued, whichever comes first.

This Order shall take effect immediately.
