[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 96-007-A, May 31, 1996 ]

AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 96-007 (UNIFORMS FOR BUS, TAXI AND JEEPNEY DRIVERS AND BUS CONDUCTORS/CONDUCTRESSES)



For violation of the provisions of Memorandum Circular No. 96-007, the following fines/penalties and sanctions shall be imposed on the driver and operator, respectively, to wit:
DRIVER:  
   
1. First Offense P100.00
2. Second Offense P300.00
3. Third Offense P500.00
   
OPERATOR:  
   
1. First Offense Stern Warning
2. Second Offense Summons to explain why CPC should not be suspended/revoked
The Land Transportation Office shall coordinate with the Board in the implementation of this Memorandum Circular by furnishing the latter with periodic reports of adjudicated cases involving violations hereof to serve as bases for the Board to summon the operators concerned.

This amendatory Memorandum Circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days after filing of three (3) copies hereof with the U.P. Law Center, in accordance with Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated October 9, 1992.
