[ GSIS RESOLUTION NO. 91, August 02, 2006 ]
POLICY AND PROCEDURAL GUIDELINES ON THE REPLACEMENT OF LOST CHECKS
RESOLVED, to APPROVE the proposed Policy and Procedural Guidelines on the Replacement of Lost Checks, a copy of which is hereto attached[*] and made an integral part of this Resolution.
The proposed PPG formalizes the transfer of functions pertaining to the replacement of lost checks from the Investigation Unit (IU) to the Treasury Office in accordance with Office Order No. 25-06 dated March 8, 2006. This amends PPG No. 148-96 dated October 24, 1996 entitled “Replacement of Lost/Stolen Checks.”
The IU shall continue to handle pending lost check transactions referred thereat prior to the issuance of Office Order No. 25-06.
All existing policies, guidelines and procedures which are inconsistent herewith are deemed amended or superseded accordingly.
This PPG shall take effect immediately.
