(NAR) VOL. 9 NO. 2 / APRIL - JUNE 1998

[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 98-020, April 16, 1998 ]

PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF HEARING

It has been noted that notices of hearings, issued by this Board as a jurisdictional requirement, published in newspapers, are printed in small points which, more often than not, are blurred, and it takes a magnifying glass to read the texts of said notices.

In view hereof, and in order to afford easy normal reading of printed notices of hearings, all applicants/petitioners, under the jurisdiction of this Board, are hereby required to cause the publication/printing of notices of hearings in newspapers in clear eight-point roman types which will make for easy reading.

Failure to comply with this Memorandum Circular will render the publication of the notice of hearing inadmissible in evidence during the presentation thereof, and the application/petition shall not be given due course.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days after the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the U.P. Law Center, pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated October 9, 1992.

Adopted: 16 April 1998
