PPA APPROVAL OF RATES FOR PILOTAGE AND OTHER ANCILLARY SERVICES
Certain pilot's associations and ancillary service operators have reportedly issued notices of rate increase without first having these rate increases submitted, deliberated on, and approved by the Authority.
In this regard, therefore, you are directed to inform all pilot's associations, and ancillary services operators in your respective jurisdictional areas of previous instructions that no rate increases for pilotage and ancillary services shall be allowed unless the PPA has formally approved the said increase.
This instruction shall apply whether such rates are prescribed rates, negotiated rates, unstructured rates or restructured rates.
