REGISTRATION OF USED IMPORTED MOTOR VEHICLES AUCTIONED AT SUBIC, MALINTA AND VALENZUELA



After resumption of the registration of used imported motor vehicles auctioned at Subic, Malinta, and Valenzuela, last 18 April 2002 per Memorandum dated 16 April, the Special Review Committee of the Office of the Assistant Secretary shall continue to evaluate the documents of the said subject motor vehicles.

The Chief, Diliman District Office shall only accept initial registration of the said motor vehicles after the Special Review Committee shall have evaluated the completeness and authenticity of the required importation documents. Further, said District Office shall continue to accept and process the registration of imported motor vehicles other than those mentioned above. This is to provide effective and efficient delivery of public service.

Inspection of the subject motor vehicles shall still be conducted at the North Motor Vehicle Inspection (NMVIS), Central Office or at the LTO, Region III Motor Vehicle Inspection Section.

This supersedes memorandum dated 16 April 2002 and shall take effect immediately.
