[ VRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 96-005, July 22, 1996 ]

REVOKING THE LICENSES OF ALL VIDEO OUTLETS HAVING X-RATED OR PORNOGRAPHIC VIDEOGRAMS IN THEIR POSSESSION



Please be advised that the Board will be strictly implementing Board Resolution No. 92-06-11 which was approved by the Videogram Regulatory Board during it's regular meeting on June 29, 1992 held at the conference room 9th Floor, Agusting I Bldg., Emerald Ave., Pasig City; to wit:
"RESOLVED, as it hereby resolved, that the Board would revoke the licenses of all video outlets found to have in their possession X-rated or pornographic videograms, after determination of their guilt in a hearing duly called for said purpose.

"RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Board, as its own instance, may initiate prosecution of the violators of the provision of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code."
This shall take effect immediately.
