(NAR) VOL. III NO. 3 / JULY - SEPTEMBER 1992

[ ERB RESOLUTION NO. 92-13, August 03, 1992 ]



WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 6173 which created the then Oil Industry Commission, now the Energy Regulatory Board, mandates this Board to encourage and assist in the organization of associations of persons engaged in the petroleum industry;

WHEREAS, there is a need for the various petroleum haulers to become members of the associations in the oil companies for which they haul petroleum products in order to enable this Board to supervise more effectively the operations and activities of the said haulers;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, as it is HEREBY RESOLVED, to require, as this Board HEREBY REQUIRES, petroleum products haulers to become members of their respective brand associations as well as of the Federation of Petroleum Products Haulers of the Philippines.

Resolved further that said membership shall be a requirement before petroleum haulers can be licensed or registered as such.

Violation of this Resolution shall be dealt with accordingly.

This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
