EXTENSION OF THE PERIOD TO DECLARE UNREGISTERED IMPORTED FOOD PRODUCTS UNDER BUREAU CIRCULAR NO. 4, S. 1997
There are requests for extension of the period to declare the unregistered imported food products already in the Philippine market.
Consequently, BFAD deliberated on the said requests and acknowledges that the period from the release of Bureau Circular No. 4 s. 1997 to the start of listing the unregistered product was very brief to sufficiently notify all parties concerned. Additionally, there has been a long holiday due to the celebration of working days within which the parties concerned may avail of the said Circular.
Therefore, BFAD finds it proper to extend, and hereby extends the period to declare unregistered imported products from March 31, 1997 to April 30, 1997. All the parties concerned shall have until April 30, 1997 to avail of the process of declaration of unregistered imported food products provided under Bureau Circular No. 4. series of 1997.
