AMENDMENT TO MC 2006-080, MC 2003-006 AND MC 2003-005
In conformity with the thrust and policy of the Department of Transportation and Communications and this Board to reduce Public Utility Buses in heavily traffic congested Metro Manila, particularly along Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), this Board hereby amends and modifies MC 2003-005 and 2003-006, Re: Implementing Guidelines on Metro Manila Bus Rationalization Program, and the Effect of the Said Rationalization Program, and item no. 4 (c) of MC 2006-080, Re: AMENDMENTS TO MC 2006-008 DATED 01 FEBRUARY 2006 (RE: FINAL EXTENSION OF DEADLINE PRESCRIBED UNDER MC 2005-035, RE: EXTENSION OF TIME TO FILE APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF VALIDITY OF EXPIRED FRANCHISES WITH MODIFICATIONS), so as to allow BUSES which only expired in 2005 to this date in the allowance for late filing of application pursuant thereto.
All issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby superseded and amended accordingly.
This Memorandum Circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days following its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
