INCORPORATION OF THE WORKER'S PASSPORT IN THE STANDARD EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR VARIOUS SKILL FOR THE EAGA REGION



Pursuant to the multilateral agreements made during the 3rd and 4th Working Group Meetings on People Mobility held in Brunei (October 1995) and Indonesia (June 1996) of the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines (BIMP) East Asia Growth Area (EAGA), a provision that worker’s passport shall be in  his/her custody during the entire contract duration shall now be incorporated in the Standard Employment Contract for Various Skills for the EAGA region. (Refer to Annex A)*.

This order takes effect immediately.
