NATIONWIDE MORATORIUM ON THE ACCEPTANCE OF NEW APPLICATIONS/PETITIONS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE EXCEPT TRUCK-FOR-HIRE SERVICE



It is the policy of the Board to conduct documentation on the Route Rationalization Program. The Board is also duty bound to ensure integrity and consistency of data recording.

To accomplish these tasks, the Board hereby orders that acceptance of new Applications/Petitions for the Issuance of a Certificate of Public Convenience for all types of services, except to Truck-for-Hire Service, be temporarily suspended nationwide until further orders from the Board.

This Memorandum Circular supersedes any and all issuances inconsistent herewith.

This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days following its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation or the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the UP Law Center, pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated 09 October 1992.
