AMENDMENT TO CIRCULAR NO. 92-34



Philpost Circular No. 92-34 is hereby amended as follows:
“x x x

Deposit Slips

Instead of the Remittance Advice, the deposit slip of the Land Bank shall be used in remitting money order collections to the account of the Philippine Postal Corporation.  The words "Money Order Fund" shall be indicated on the deposit slip which shall be prepared in five (5) copies, distribution of which shall be as follows:

Original and

5th Copy -
Land Bank

2nd Copy -
The receipt portion of the original copy and the 2nd copy are for the Postmaster’s file. Both shall be machine validated by the bank.

3rd Copy -
For the Chief Accountant, Postal Regional Office. It shall be sent immediately as registered or express mail by the Postmaster addressed to: The Chief Accountant, Postal Regional Office.

4th Copy -
For the City of Provincial Auditor. It shall be attached to the Postmaster’s monthly financial report being submitted to the Auditor concerned at the end of every month.

All other provisions of said Circular which are inconsistent with the foregoing are hereby modified accordingly.

Regional Directors shall furnish copies hereof to all Postmasters, City and Provincial Auditors, and to the Land Bank depository branch.
