[ DOTC DEPARTMENT CIRCULAR NO. 94-276, June 15, 1994 ]

AMENDING ARTICLE 1 OF DEPARTMENT CIRCULAR NO. 94-274 ENTITLED "PROVIDING GUIDELINES ON THE ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE DOTC EMERGENCY TRUNKED RADIO COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM, SETTING THE RULES AND PROCEDURES ON THE ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROL, MONITORING, SECURITY AND OPERATION, AND MAINTENANCE THEREOF, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES"



In the interest of the service and consistent with the mandate of the TELECOMMUNICATIONS OFFICE (TELOF), the EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS PROJECT OFFICE (ECPO) is hereby placed directly under the Office of the Assistant Secretary for TELOF. As such, Article 1 of Department Circular 94-274 is hereby amended to read:

1.  The EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS PROJECTS OFFICE (ECPO) which is directly under the Office of the Assistant Secretary, TELECOMMUNICATIONS OFFICE (TELOF), Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), shall operate and manage the DOTC Emergency Trunked Radio Communications System, hereinafter referred as the "System".

As far as this Circular is concerned, "DOTC" refers to "TELOF/DOTC", and, "duly authorized official" of the Secretary shall mean the Assistant Secretary of TELOF.

All memorandums, circulars and issuances inconsistent with this Circular are hereby superseded and repealed.

This Department Circular shall take effect immediately.
