The joint Department of Agriculture A.O. No. 3720 as amended by E.O. No. 175, otherwise known as the "Foods, Drug and Devices and Cosmetics Act", and R.A. No. 6675, otherwise known as the "Generics Act of 1988".

However, one may opt for a reformulation of the feed to retain its registration under R.A. 1556. A new set of feed samples shall be analyzed and new tags have to be submitted for approval.
