RICE SUPPLY THROUGH SALARY DEDUCTION SCHEME



The Masaganang Sakahan Inc. (MSI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of (the Land Bank of the Philippines is introducing a program that is in keeping with the needs of the times.

Under its Rice Marketing Program, MSI is offering to all interested government agencies its rice supply services through its Rice Supply Through Salary Deduction Scheme.  The program aims to extend the MSI's rice supply services to employees of government agencies, particularly those who are currently non-recipients of agency subsidized rice allocation benefit.

It may be mentioned that other government agencies, particularly government-owned and controlled corporations that grant rice allowances to their employees have been required to purchase their rice and corn requirements from the MSI, through Memorandum Order No. 243, issued by the Office of the President on June 27, 1989.

A number of government agencies, the CSC included, have started their respective Employee Welfare Programs which include the bulk buying of rice, sugar and other basic commodities and selling these items to employees at cost.  For your rice requirements, you may consider the services of the Masaganang Sakahan, Inc.  The MSI office is located at:
