LIMITING THE NUMBER OF PROPOSED BRANDNAMES FOR BRANDNAME CLEARANCE FOR A SINGLE DRUG PRODUCT OR PHARMACEUTICAL SPECIALTY



<DIV ALIGN=JUSTIFY>In order to facilitate the evaluation of application for brandname clearance of a drug or pharmaceutical specialty, the following regulations are hereby promulgated:

1.  Each application shall contain only five (5) proposed brandnames per drug or pharmaceutical specialty, the submitted list shall be according to the company's order of preference.

2.   Of the five (5) proposed brandnames submitted, if one brandname has already been cleared and approved, the remaining proposed brandnames will no longer be evaluated and cleared by this Office.
