RESOLUTION NO. R-850, ALLOWING THE PARTICIPATION IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES SUCH AS PUBLIC SCHOOL BUILDINGS IN SOCIALIZED HOUSING OR RESETTLEMENT AREAS AS A MODE OF COMPLIANCE TO SEC. 18 OF R.A. 7279
Quoted hereunder is HLURB Board Resolution No. R-850, Series of 2009, Allowing the Participation in the Construction of Educational Facilities Such as Public School Buildings in Socialized Housing or Resettlement Areas as a Mode of Compliance to Sec. 18 of R.A. 7279, which was approved by the Board on 25 November 2009:
The above was published in The Philippine Daily Inquirer on 23 January 2010, and, in accordance with the provisions of law, will take effect fifteen (15) days from its date of publication, on 07 February 2010.

WHEREAS, Section 21 of RA 7279 states that socialized housing or resettlement areas shall be provided with basic services and facilities, which include, among others, educational facilities;
WHEREFORE, RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that participation in the construction of education facilities such as public school buildings in socialized housing projects or resettlement areas be allowed as a mode of compliance to Section 18 of RA 7279.
