[ PPA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 34-99, July 19, 1999 ]
AMENDMENTS TO PPA MC 07-92
In order to address complaints against the imposition of unauthorized porterage charges, adjust porterage rates to reasonable level which encourage operational efficiency and to simplify the criteria for determining the appropriate porterage fee, Sections IV and V of PPA Memorandum Circular 07-92 are hereby amended as follows:
1. Porterage Rates
The porterage service rates shall be based on the actual distance traveled by the porters in rendering the service which shall be in accordance with the attached schedules (Annexes "A" to "Q").
2. Regulatory Fee
All porterage service operators shall pay an annual regulatory fee of P1,500.00.
All other provisions of PPA MC 07-92 not included herewith shall continue to be enforced.
