MANDATORY REPORTING OF SIGNIFICANT INCIDENTS INVOLVING DEPLOYED OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS (OFWS)
Pursuant to Part II, Rule X, Section 1.h, on Legal Assistance and Enforcement Measure of the POEA Rules and Regulations Governing the Recruitment and Employment of Land-Based Overseas Workers, and pursuant further to Rule IV, Section 1.h of R.A. 10022 strengthening the rights and protection of OFWs, mandatory reporting of significant incidents affecting the employment and welfare of deployed workers, such as the following, is hereby reiterated:
Subject reports shall be submitted to the Office of the Deputy Administrator for Welfare and Employment for monitoring and appropriate action as may be required.
