IMPLEMENTATION/EXECUTION OF JUDGMENTS, DECISIONS, WRITS AND ORDERS OF THE IPO AND OF THE REGULAR COURTS



In order to streamline the implementation/execution of judgments, decisions, writs and orders issued by the IPO and of the regular courts wherein the IPO is directed to implement/execute, the office of the Deputy Director General - Lawyer is hereby designated to handle, effect and monitor the implementation /execution of such judgments, decisions, writs or orders.

Accordingly, the ODDG - Lawyer is to coordinate with the different bureaus of the IPO, in serving on the parties concerned, orders and notices of garnishment, writs of executions, injunctions, restraining orders and other processes, in accordance with the pertinent provisions of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (R.A. 8293 and Implementing Rules and Regulations, and of the Rules of Court, whenever applicable. In connection thereto, the Office is to prepare and file in court on behalf of the IPO the required or necessary motions, manifestations or compliance to, or related to court-issued orders or writs. To facilitate and effectively carry out those tasks, the DDG-Lawyer is hereby authorized to deputize/utilize personnel of the different bureaus.
