[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2010-011, March 01, 2010 ]

PROHIBITION OF ACCEPTANCE BY THE REGIONAL OFFICES OF CHANGE BASE OF OPERATION OR CHANGE AREA OF OPERATIONS



Acting on the validated reports that there were applications involving change base or area of operation that has been received by the regional Offices, without proper clearance of accountabilities from the office of the original base or area of operation, and despite the agreement reached during the previous Regional Conferences that no applications involving change base or area of operation shall be accepted and entertained by the regional offices, this Board hereby prohibits regional offices to accept all forms of applications involving change base or area of operation.

In relation thereto, pending applications/petitions, including all motions and other pleadings involving change base or area of operation should be completely and properly endorsed by the regional offices to the LTFRB Central Office within thirty (30) days from effectivity of this Memorandum Circular. All applications/petitions and all other pleadings involving change base or area of operation shall exclusively be filed with the Technical Evaluation Division – Receiving Section of this Board’s Central Office, to be disposed of by the Board En Banc.

All issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby superseded and amended accordingly.

This Memorandum shall take effect immediately.
