MODIFICATION WITH THE POLICY ON FILING APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF VALIDITY



In order to fully support the interconnectivity project of this Board with the Land Transportation Office for easy access of registration of Public Utility Vehicles, this Board hereby modifies the policy of this Board as per Memorandum Circular 2009-006 dated February 20, 2009, Re: REVISED POLICY ON APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF VALIDITY OF EXPIRED CERTIFICATE/S OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE OF ALL TYPES OF SERVICES, Item No. 3  thereof, that application/s for extension of validity should be filed six (6) months prior to the date of expiration of the CPC,  and now  mandates all grantees of CPCs willing to continue their services to file at least one (1) year prior to the date of expiration of the CPC. This is to further avoid any inconvenience of delay in the registration of for hire vehicles;

All issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby superseded and amended accordingly. This Memorandum Circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days following its publication in a newspaper of general circulation and filing of three (3) copies hereof with the UP Law Center pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11 dated 9 October 1992.
