[ LTO MEMORANDUM, December 14, 2009 ]
HANDLING OF REQUESTS FOR MV VERIFICATION FROM GOVERNMENT OFFICES INCLUDING POLICE AND MILITARY
Memorandum dated 09 December 2009 by the Assistant Secretary ordered the MID-Records Section to stop the issuance of MV verification to all requesting parties.
In view of this, the Public Assistance and Complaints Center headed by Mr. Jose Marie Salvador is ordered to handle all requests coming from government offices including the police and the military subject to the existing guidelines in the verification of motor vehicles as stipulated in MC No. 87-038 dated 6 November 1987.
This order shall take effect immediately.
