[ DECS ORDER NO. 83, S. 1999, August 06, 1999 ]
PAYMENT OF GOVERNMENT STATUTORY EXPENDITURES ON PERSONAL SERVICES OF CONTRACTUAL EMPLOYEES
1. Inclosed is a copy of Joint Circular No. 99-3* dated April 30, 1999 of the Government Service Insurance System and the Department of Budget and Management regarding the payment of government share of premiums on retirement and life insurance (RLIP), health insurance (Medicare), employees' compensation insurance (ECIP) and PAG-IBIG.
2. In accordance with said joint circular, no additional funds shall be released by DBM for the purpose. The government share shall be paid out of the 20% premium given contractual employees pursuant to Section 44 of the 1999 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
3. Likewise, the employee's share for said premiums shall be paid by the individual contractual employees.
4. Wide dissemination of this Order is desired.
