SUSPENSION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF BGC-AO99001 DATED 23 FEBRUARY 1999
In view of the reports received by this Office on the non-issuance of official receipts by some drug testing laboratories conducting drug test to professional driver's license holders and applicants, the implementation of BGC-AO99001 at the regional offices is hereby temporarily suspended until such time that the LTO has already processed the applications for accreditation of drug testing laboratories.
However, all applicants for professional driver's license and renewal thereof at the National Capital Region (NCR) or those residing in Metro Manila are required to have the drug test at the LTO Central Drug Office Drug Testing Laboratory only, located at East Avenue, Quezon City.
