CLARIFICATION RE; MEMORANDUM DATED 07 DECEMBER 1999



In order to clarify confusion from the issuance of Memorandum dated 07 December 1999 and to provide more time for the accreditation of qualified drug testing laboratories and in order to avoid influx of applicants at the LTO Drug Testing Laboratory, the implementation of drug testing of professional driver's license applicants for new and renewal is hereby temporarily suspended effective December 8, 1999 until further notice from this Office.

Therefore, all district offices/licensing centers are hereby ordered to accept and process all applications for new and renewal professional driver's license without the drug testing certificate.

All orders, memoranda in conflict herewith are deemed superseded.
