AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2005-001



After consultations with the tourist transport operators, the Board hereby amends the First Paragraph of Page 2 of Memorandum Circular 2005-001 (Re: Amendment to Memorandum Circular No. 2004-011, as amended), to now read as follows:

 

"Brand-new units shall only be required in cases of Applications for the issuance of a New CPC and for Increase of Units. For Petitions for Dropping and Substitution of Units, all units proposed as substitutes for authorized tourist transport units must not be more than three (3) years old upon filing thereof and must be of a later model than the units being substituted."

This Memorandum Circular supersedes any and all issuances inconsistent herewith, and takes effect immediately following the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the UP Law Center, pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated 09 October 1992.
