[ SRA SUGAR ORDER NO. 9 s. 1992-1993, March 18, 1993 ]

"E" SUGAR ELIGIBLE FOR SHIPMENT TO THE WORLD MARKET AS "D" SUGAR



WHEREAS, SRA Sugar Order No. 3, series of 1990-1991, dated November 5, 1990, had allocated 50% of the crop year 1990-1991 sugar production as class "E" or Sugar-Based Food Export Products and made available exclusively to local manufacturers/processors of sugar-based food products for export;

WHEREAS, despite the lapse of two (2) crop years, there remains an unavailed quantity of the aforesaid "E" sugar covered by still outstanding quedan-permits;

NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the powers vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:

SECTION 1.       All "E" or Sugar-Based Food Export Products sugar is hereby made eligible for shipment to the World Market as class "D" sugar.

SECTION 2.       All outstanding "E" quedan-permits utilized for shipment to the World Market under this Sugar Order shall be rubber-stamped: WITHDRAWN as "D", per SRA Sugar Order No. 9, dated March 18, 1993.

SECTION 3.       This Order shall take effect immediately.

SECTION 4.       Any provision of sugar orders, circular letters, rules and regulations inconsistent with or contrary to this Sugar Order are hereby revoked, amended, or modified accordingly.
