FURTHER AMENDMENT OF CIRCULAR NO. 97-29, RE AMENDED DEVOLUTION OF FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE CONDUCT OF ADMINISTRATIVE DISCIPLINE AND PROCEDURE
In order to effectively implement the functions and responsibilities in the conduct of administrative discipline devolved to the Regional Directors, Number 5 (5.1) of the above-captioned Circular is hereby further amended to read as follows:
5. RENDITION OF DECISION
"5.1 The Regional Director may render a decision in administrative cases for respondent officer or employee with Salary Grade 23 and below, the penalty of which shall not exceed thirty (30) days fine or suspension, copy furnished the Postmaster General through the Director, Legal Service a copy of the decision and the entire records of the case."
All orders, circulars, and issuances of this Office in conflict herewith are hereby superseded and/or modified accordingly.
