CONTAINERS AND LABELS OF MILK PRODUCTS WITHIN THE SCOPE OF E.O. 51 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE "MILK CODE"



For a proper implementation of EO 51 and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulation, all concerned are hereby enjoined to strictly comply with sections 25 and 26, Rule VII of DOH-AO 2006-0012.

As such, all milk companies are directed to submit new labels of their product to the Product Services Division (PSD) on or before 15 January 2008 without extension. It is understood that the necessary warnings as mandated in Rule VII of the RIRR are already, incorporated in your new label upon submission.

Old label shall no longer be permitted for use starting March 2008. Non-compliant label shall not be allowed and shall be subject to legal and administrative sanctions, such as, but not limited to, recall of violative products, and suspension or revocation of Certificate of Product Registration (CPR).
