[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2005-032, September 28, 2005 ]

ADDITIONAL TWO (2) YEARS FOR THE MAXIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR TAXI UNITS THAT WILL BE CONVERTED TO LPG



In consonance with the program of the government to strengthen measures to address the extraordinary increase in world oil prices, and to encourage taxi operators to convert from gasoline operated taxi units to LPG operated taxi units, all taxi units that will be converted to LPG shall have an additional two (2) years for the maximum age requirement of thirteen (13) years for taxi units.

The additional two years shall only be given if the operator will file an Application/Petition for Conversion before this Board, otherwise, the same cannot be availed of.

All issuances, or parts thereof, inconsistent with this Memorandum Circular are hereby superseded, revoked and/or modified accordingly.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately.
