ADDITIONAL DRUG FOR INCLUSION TO THE PHILHEALTH LIST OF REIMBURSABLE DRUGS (POSITIVE LIST)
Pursuant to the PhilHealth Board Resolution No. 349, s. 2000, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) has approved the drug meloxicam for inclusion to its positive list. Claims for this drug will be reimbursed only when used for rheumatoid arthritis, acute lumbago and osteoarthritis.
This circular shall take effect on all admissions starting 01 February 2003 and expires 01 February 2004 if, by then, the drug is not included in the Philippine National Drug Formulary.
